This class seamlessly combines art and technology by teaming up with The Enrichment Center @ 2nd Nature Academy.

Space is the final frontier and in this class, we will learn about what it’s like on the moon, the planets, and the Milky Way. Then using our imagination, we will go another level to think about what would it be like to live there? Or what would a life form look like on that planet?

We will give our imagination form through Minecraft and mixed media art! With Minecraft, we will create these environments in Minecraft, and learn what machines and supplies they need to fill their space base with in order to survive on an alien world. But we don’t stop here! While Minecraft might work one part of our brain, we will also exercise students’ other creative side by using various mediums, such as clay, decoupage, and paint, to form space-themed worlds and extra terrestrials.

Familiarity with Minecraft is helpful but not required. We can go over basic building skills, which is all you need to start creating.
